Build with air
If there is something simple and wonderful, it is bubbles! Those fragile structures that defy the laws of gravity and that disappear without a trace in the blink of an eye have been studied and applied in architecture. In this workshop we will discover various architectural principles and hidden geometries while building with air!
Animal Architecture
This workshop offers participants the opportunity to explore the incredible structures created by animals and challenges them to develop an architectural project using adaptations and natural materials, highlighting the importance of creating more sustainable and effective solutions.
The body as a drawing tool
This activity aims to provide a moment of leisure, discovery, play and exploration through drawing with the body on large format paper.
We propose new ways of looking at space and challenge participants to experiment, create and explore together. Through principles of performative art and body activation, this workshop proposes the expansion of the drawing action, which traditionally begins with the fingers, hand, arm and shoulder, to the rest of the body and the surrounding space.
*All workshops are adapted to each age group.

Confirmation of booking involves payment of €120 (minimum number of participants) within five working days after confirming the date, time and selection of the Activity/s. The remaining amount is paid on the day of the event, at the Casa da Arquitetura ticket office, or by bank transfer (IBAN: PT50 0010 0000 4192 0680 0017 5), indicating the day of the party and the name of the birthday person.
Proof must be sent to
[email protected], together with the address and NIF for billing purposes.
Failure to pay within the indicated period will result in cancellation of the appointment.
Obs
Snacks are the responsibility of the adults responsible for the group.
Only party props that do not dirty the space are allowed
Accompanying rules
1. The parties are always accompanied by two monitors who are responsible for the dynamics and carrying out of the activities previously selected by the responsible adults.
2. Two adults who have been nominated as responsible for the birthday party must always accompany the group during the party.
3. The two accompanying adults must arrive 30 minutes before the time to welcome guests at the Casa da Arquitectura ticket office.
4. Guests must wait at the ticket office at the time agreed by the adults accompanying the birthday child, and can visit the exhibitions at the Casa da Arquitectura Gallery for free.
Bookings
The first contact to request a date and time reservation for the birthday party must be made up to 12 days before the birthday.
Reservation requests must be made by filling out the form.
Cancellation
If the party is canceled, only half of the amount previously paid will be refunded.
In case of cancellation, this must be communicated in writing, at least 5 working days in advance.
Lost Items
Casa da Arquitectura and its monitors are not responsible for the loss or misplacement of participants' personal objects, valuables or gifts.
